Past, Present And Future-2

You know how they tell you not to judge someone based on their past.

Well it’s true and we really shouldn’t!

But I’ve got another view on this. The other side of the coin, you may say !!!

Just how we shouldn’t judge someone based on their past, in the same way, we shouldn’t judge someone’s past based on their present.

What does that even mean you ask???

Well it’s simple.

There may be a person you meet now. He has everything you wished for. A nice family, a house, a car(s), a fancy lifestyle. He has got it all together. He lives the way you dream of living.

Now, you have met this person now. Now when he has it all. The way he lives, you could’ve never imagined his life to be something different from this.

And so you assume even his past to be the same, where he had it all.

And because the person never talks about it, you think you’re right.

But based on his present, you cannot judge his past.

Who knows what all he had to go through to be where he is right now.

The difficulties he faced.

The days he survived.

The problems he overcame.

No, we don’t know it and so we assume he had it all easily.

But how wrong is it to belittle his past based on his present.

The past teaches us lessons of life. We are where we are because of it, with all its highs and lows.

So, never judge someone’s past based on their present.

And also, never predict someone’s future based on their present.

That guy we talked who had it all, may lose it all in the future. Or gain double. Who knows!!!

The present neither tells you about the past nor the future.

The three are co- related in some ways and different in some.

We are not the same person we were a few years ago and we will not be the same a few years from now.

So why restrict someone in these boxes?

Why judge someone by these metrics?

So, think and think through before you put a label on someone’s life.

Over sharing

Being an introvert, why is it so hard for me to open up or share my feelings with the ones I love and know…. than it is with a complete stranger ????

If I get talking to someone who I barely know or someone whom I’ve just met…. few minutes into the conversation and I’ll be telling him my life story !!! 😂😂

Is it the relief of not being judged by the stranger that makes me so ??

The relief that the stranger only knows my side of the story or that he will believe whatever I’ve to say.

I often tell my husband this and he says I can’t differentiate between what to share and what’s not.

Being an introvert my entire life and having had difficulties making friends, I guess my mind just assumes that if I start telling secrets, it will be easier this time.

I read a post on Internet that asked this question – ‘Are you over sharing because you really want to share or just seeking validation from others’

And believe me, this hit the right spot and made me think about it.

Of course I don’t like this trait of my personality. And I would like to put some brakes on my ‘tell all tales train’ when I’m with others.

Being an introvert is difficult in itself and I don’t need something else to worry about.

I guess I’ll just have to monitor on what I share, with whom I share and how I share when with others, stranger or not, doesn’t matter.

I’m almost 30 years old now, but I guess I still have a lot to learn….

Well then, here’s to happy learnings!!!

With you

I am done with existing….

I want to start living….

With you !!!!

She said to him with teary eyes.

Her vision was blurred but she could see her entire future with him,

By her side, always and forever.

And for him, who had loved her in all her forms,

He needn’t say yes to the girl kneeling down in front of him.

For words would never really be enough,

He kneeled beside her and pulled her in for a deep kiss,

Clearly not the first and surely not the last.

Just saying !!

Even the highest mountain peak on this earth isn’t satisfied with its length and it grows every year….

Then why are you satisfied with something you know isn’t the best that you can achieve???

Keep on learning…

Keep on improving….

Don’t settle unless it’s the best…

The best for you …

And you know what they…. The sky is the limit, right ???

Remember !!!!

The road to success can surely be a long one. With its ups and downs. Sometimes making you feel as to why in the first place you decided to take this hell upon yourself??

As to why you came out of your comfort zone, willingly, just to be discouraged and put down by life?

The road to your goals and aspirations can surely be one with difficulties.

But remember!!!

Remember why you started??

Remember the reason why you want to achieve those specific goals.

Remind yourself that you just don’t want to but you NEED to achieve them.

And keep reminding yourself of what lies beyond this long and difficult road.

And I’m sure then that this very long and difficult road would turn out to be the one you enjoyed the most!!!
